September 16 (SeeNews) - Turkish-based shopping centre developer Prime Development Proje Gelistirme has officially opened a $150 million (112 million euro) mall in the southeastern city of Gaziantep, local media reported.
The construction of the 161,000 square metre shopping centre was completed four and a half months ahead of schedule, local news agency Ihlas Haber Ajansi reported on Friday, citing Prime Development CEO Artug Cetin.
The mall has 165 stores and will create 2,500 jobs, according to Cetin. It also features a food court, digital cinema halls and an entertainment complex.
Prime Development aims to increase its investments in Turkey to $1.0 billion in the coming three to five years from $500 million so far, Cetin added.
Prime Mall Gaziantep is Prime Development's third mall in Turkey after the malls opened in the southern cities of Iskenderun and Antakya.
