February 10 (SeeNews) - Turkish conglomerate Koc Holding AS [IST:KCHOL] intends to expand in the Indian market of durable consumer goods through a joint venture company with local Tata Group, Indian media reported on Monday.
The 50/50 joint venture has invested $180 million (164.37 million euro) in the construction of a plant for production of consumer durables in Sanand, Gujarat, Times of India reported.
Koc will roll out refrigerators, washing machines, microwave ovens and dishwashers made in India in the manufacturing facility in Sanand, starting with its home appliances brands Beko and Grundig.
