September 23 (SeeNews) - Turkish industrial holding company Kale Group, officially opened a 5.0 million Turkish lira ($2.5 million/1.9 million euro) factory for its unit Kalekim in southeastern Turkey's Mardin province, Mardin governor's office said.
The factory was set up as part of the company's five-year investment plans and with the aim to meet existing and potential market demand in the region, Kale Group's CEO Zeynep Bodur Okyay said at the opening ceremony, quoted in a statement published on the website of Mardin governor's office.
Kale Group's CEO Zeynep Bodur Okyay said also that the company would soon invest a further 5.0 million lira in the factory.
Kalekim is active in the production of construction chemicals for the construction sector.
