SKOPJE (Macedonia), September 17 (SeeNews) – Turkish medical equipment maker Istem Medical plans to launch the construction of a 10 million euro ($13 million) plant near the Macedonian capital early next month, the government in Skopje said on Wednesday.
The plant for catheters, urological systems and other medical products will initially employ 150 people and will increase their number to 250 within several years, the Macedonian government said in a statement, quoting Istem Medical CEO, Musa Yagmurlu after he met Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski in Ankara on Tuesday.
The plant will be located in the Bunardzik industrial development zone, near Skopje.
