February 20 (SeeNews) - Turkey's consumer confidence index fell by 2.7 percentage points month-on-month in February and was 0.5 points lower on the year, the country's statistical office said.
The index reached 57.3 points in February, compared with 58.8 points in January, TurkStat said in a press release on Thursday.
The index tracking financial situation expectations in the next 12 months dropped by 3.4 percentage points month-on-month in February.
The general economic situation expectation index decreased by 1.9 percentage points.
The number of people unemployed expectation index in the next 12-month period dropped 5.3 percentage points in February compared with January.
The probability of saving index in the next 12 months period increased by 4.2 percentage points in the same month.
