October 22 (SeeNews) - Turkish furniture maker Cilek said Tuesday it officially opened its first concept store in India in the city of Mumbai.
The company, which has 444 selling points in 66 countries on five continents, plans to double the number of its stores by the end of the year and to open five new stores in India in 2014, it said in a statement.
Cilek's management board member Muharrem Cilek said India is a very important market for the company and it targets to open more than 25 stores in the country in the next five years.
The Indian store of Cilek is also the first store of a Turkish brand in the country, according to the company.
Cilek specialises in the design and production of furniture and accessories for babies, children and teens.
