May 27 (SeeNews) - Turkey's Aksa Elektrik Toptan Satis, a unit of Kazanci Holding, has applied with Turkey's energy regulator for permission to use a state-owned power transmission line for exports to Iraq, another unit of the holding company said on Monday.
Aksa Elektrik and two more companies will participate in a tender for the rights to export power to Iraq through a 154-kilovolt power transmission line owned by the Turkish Electricity Transmission Company, Aksa Enerji Uretim [BIST:AKSEN] said in a statement on Borsa Istanbul.
If Aksa Elektrik wins the tender, it will export to Iraq 1.0 billion kilowatt hours annually generated by Aksa Enerji power stations with a 150 megawatt capacity.
