March 5 (SeeNews) - Turkish gaming company Brew Games has attracted a $4 million (3.3 million euro) in financing from Turkey-focused venture capital and private equity firm Actera Group, local media reported on Friday.
Brew Games will use the funding to increase the number of its employees, improve software automation processes and release hypercasual and hybrid games, Daily Sabah said.
"Turkey has come a long way in mobile game development in the last five years. [...] We see that the investments made in Turkish game companies have continuously gone up. In addition to offering our games to the world, we will do our best to bring new talents to our industry," Daily Sabah quoted Brew Games co-founder and CEO Ufuk Benli as saying.
According to data published on the company's LinkedIn profile, Brew Games was founded in 2021 and has offices in Istanbul and Ankara as well as in Germany's Hamburg.
Actera Group, based on the island of Jersey, is the largest private equity firm primarily focusing on investments in Turkey, advising funds with assets exceeding $3.3 billion, according to information published on the company's website.
