March 30 (SeeNews) - Drug producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the largest turnover of 1.57 million euro ($1.68), or almost a half of Thursday's total turnover on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE), bourse data showed.
Krka's shares closed at 52.4 euro, up 0.77%.
Total stock turnover on the LJSE increased to 3.62 million euro on Thursday from 2.37 million euro in the previous trading session.
Three block deals in Krka, Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] and Sava Re [LJE:POSR], worth 500,000 euro, 150,000 euro, and 470,000 euro, respectively, contributed to the higher turnover.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and highly capitalised stocks on the LJSE, declined 0.72% to 772.00 points from 1.23% on Wednesday.
On the official market, Luka Koper led the blue-chip decliners, falling by 5.54% to a closing price of 29.5 euro. The company's total turnover reached 349,230 euro.
Financial company KD Group [LJE:KDHD] was the top blue-chip gainer on LJSE, adding 1.14% to a closing price of 8.101 euro. The company had a modest turnover of 1,160 euro.
