June 8 (SeeNews) - State-owned Telekom Srbija plans to acquire 100% of Serbian virtual mobile operator Globaltel, local media reported on Thursday.
The value of the deal is confidential, Telekom Srbija CEO Vladimir Lucic said, as quoted by media outlet N1, dismissing reports that the deal carries a price tag of 17 million euro ($18.3 million).

According to the Serbian business registry, Pink Media holds a 55% stake in Globaltel, while technology innovator Prosescom owns the remainder.
Globaltel provides services using A1 Serbia’s network infrastructure.
Telekom Srbija has operations in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.
The company recorded a profit of 13.1 billion dinars ($120.2 million/111.7 million euro) in 2021.
