LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), October 2 (SeeNews) – Telekom Slovenije said on Tuesday it has signed an agreement with Bosnia’s Telekomunikacije Republike Srpske to sell its 100% interest in its Bosnian unit Blicnet.
“The contracting parties plan for the transaction to be completed by the end of 2018, as soon as all the suspensory conditions agreed in the sale and purchase agreement are finalized,” Telekom Slovenije said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.

Telekom Slovenije also said it will not reveal any further details, including the purchase amount, until the conclusion of the transaction.
“The sale of Blicnet d.o.o. is in accordance with the adopted 2018 Telekom Slovenije Group Business Plan, and the Telekom Slovenije Group Strategic Business Plan for the 2018-2022 period,” the Slovenian company said.
Blicnet is an integrated provider of mobile and fixed telephony services, broadband internet, cable and digital TV, as well as network operator and system integrator.
Banja Luka-based Telekomunikacije Republike Srpske provides solutions for private and business customers in Bosnia's Serb Republic entity. It is majority-owned by Serbian state-controlled Telekom Srbija.
