November 8 (SeeNews) - Swiss International Air Lines (Swiss) will suspend its flights from Zurich to Croatia's Zagreb and Bosnia's Sarajevo as of next summer, local media reported.
"Swiss regularly reviews its route network for possible adjustments and its further development. As part of these ongoing endeavours, we have decided to cease service to Sarajevo and Zagreb as of the 2020 summer schedule," the air carrier told EX-YU Aviation News on Thursday.
The Swiss air carrier used to operate three weekly flights to Zagreb in the summer and two weekly connections to the Bosnian capital.
However, the carrier will remain present on the Croatian market as it will operate a flight connecting Geneva and the coastal town of Pula as of June 20.
However, it will no longer fly to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the report said.
Swiss launched year-round flights from Zurich to Zagreb and Sarajevo in the summer of 2015. However, both were later downgraded to seasonal services.
