April 7 (SeeNews) - Swiss company SICPA, which provides authentication, identification and traceability solutions and services, will invest 5 billion lira ($740 million/680 million euro) to set up a research and development (R&D) center in Turkey once the coronavirus crisis ends, local media reported.
The facility will employ some 3,000 people and will carry out advance technological research related to artificial intelligence, blockchain and cybersecurity, Philippe Amon, chairman and CEO of SICPA, said, as reported by Sabah Daily on Monday.
Lausanne-headquartered SICPA was set up in 1927. The company has 35 offices worldwide and employs about 2,800 people.
