September 21 (SeeNews) - Swiss textile manufacturer Baechi Cord plans to open a production plant in Kosovo focused on the manufacture of threads, ropes and twines, the country’s industry ministry said.
The facility will employ more than 25 local residents, the ministry said in a media notice on Wednesday.
A SeeNews inquiry sent via email to Baechi Cord regarding the facility's opening date and investment value remained unanswered at the time of this article's publication.
Baechi Cord, specialising in the production of cords and twines, is headquartered in Oberneunforn, a village in southern Switzerland, where it has two production facilities and warehouses, according to the company website.
