March 10 (SeeNews) - Indices on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange closed in red territory on Wednesday, with the blue-chip SOFIX index falling 0.11% to 487.49 points.
Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT (BREF) [BUL:BREF] saw the largest share price decrease on Wednesday, of 3.14%. Battery maker Monbat [BUL:MONB] and diversified group Doverie United Holding [BUL:DUH] followed with losses of 2.38% and 2.25%, respectively.

The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, decreased 0.26% to 109.66 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, slid 0.16% to 528.29 points.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, fell 0.46% to 145.01 points.
Total trading turnover was higher than usual and amounted to 2.1 million levs ($1.3 million/1.1 million euro). Turnover was boosted by deals with shares in heating utility Toplofikatsiya - Ruse [BUL:TPLR], worth some 1.1 million levs. Shares in Toplofikatsiya - Ruse started trading on the BSE last week.
