April 27 (SeeNews) - Stolichen Avtotransport, the public bus transport company of Bulgaria’s capital Sofia, said on Friday that it has signed a 22.2 million levs ($13.7 million/11.3 million euro) deal with local leasing company Eurolease Auto [BUL:9K2F] for the supply of 20 electric buses.
The deal was signed on April 20, Stolichen Avtotransport said in a notice.

Eurolease Auto was the only company which submitted an offer in the tender for the contract.
Last week, Yordanka Fandakova, mayor of Sofia, said in a Facebook post that the 20 electric buses will be delivered by the end of October. According to her post, the buses can drive 300 km on a single charge.
Eurolease Auto is a unit of Bulgaria's Eurolease Group [BUL:E8DA].
On Thursday, Stolichen Avtotransport said it has signed a 23 million levs deal with local financial leasing company BACB Finance for the supply of 60 gas-powered buses.
