SOFIA (Bulgaria), April 30 (SeeNews) – Bulgaria’s capital Sofia invited bids for upgrades of its water supply and sewage network estimated to cost 59.8 million levs ($39.9 million/30.6 million euro), a notice in the EU's procurement journal indicated on Tuesday.
The project envisages the construction of main sewage collectors and replacement of existing water mains in the west region of Bankya, the notice published in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) showed.
The project is financed with money from the EU-funded operational programme Environment.
Bids have to be submitted by June 13 and will be opened on the following day.
The project is planned to be completed by the end of 2014.
