January 24 (SeeNews) - All indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) started the week in negative territory, with the blue-chip SOFIX index falling the most - by 2.75% to 609.94 points, bourse data showed on Monday.
The SOFIX daily performance was impacted negatively by a sharp decline in the price of IoT devices developer Allterco [BUL:A4L] which shed 10.48%. As many as 15,575 shares in Allterco changed hands at an average price of 19.4030 levs on the floor of the Sofia bourse on Monday.
The losses in the shares of the IoT devices maker weighed on the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The index went down 1.99% to 667.03 points.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, erased 2.38% to 138.41 points. It was negatively influenced mostly by a 10.71% decline in the shares of FairPlay Properties REIT [BUL:FPP].
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, fell 0.61% to 166.23 points mostly due to a 2.70% drop in the shares of Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF].
Total turnover on the BSE's main market grew to over 2.1 million levs ($1.2 million/1.1 million euro) from 1.45 million levs on Friday.
The most traded company on Monday was Doverie United Holding [BUL:DUH]. A total of 53,392 shares in the holding company changed hands 2.11% lower at an average price of 9.2818 levs, contributing 495,600 levs in turnover.
