November 10 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip SOFIX index of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed 0.82% higher at 603.70 points on Wednesday, mainly backed by a 2.36% rise in the share price of diversified group Doverie United Holding [BUL:DOV], bourse data showed.
As many as 22,285 shares of Doverie United Holding traded at an average price of 7.7712 levs, which made the group the most traded company on Wednesday.
Doverie United Holding contributed about 173,200 levs ($102,100/88,600 euro) to the total turnover on the Sofia bourse's main market for the day which fell sharply to some 513,300 levs from 4.1 million levs on Tuesday.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, went up 0.42% to 137.88 points. The index was positively influenced by a 3.16% rise in the share price of cable and wire manufacturer EMKA [BUL:EMKA].
A 3.06% rise in the shares of software developer Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SGH] supported a rise in the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The BGTR30 added 0.31% to 662.43 points on Wednesday.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, closed 0.14% lower at 164.68 points due to a 1.05% drop in the shares of Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER].
