February 6 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange blue-chip SOFIX index registered two consecutive losing trading sessions, closing 0.05% lower at 570.05 points on Thursday, following a 0.83% decrease on Wednesday.
Drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR], the largest component on the capitalisation-weighted SOFIX, led decliners among blue chips with a 2.03% drop to 3.38 levs. Other notable decliners were software group Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SKK] and car battery maker Monbat [BUL:5MB], which erased 1.59% and 1.54%, respectively.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, rose 0.38% to 112.67 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, grew 0.60% to 520.58 points.
Both indices were supported by diversified groups Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR] and Doverie United Holding [BUL:5DOV], which added 5.94% and 5.36%, respectively.
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, edged down 0.03% to 134.36 points, dragged down by a 0.71% decrease in the share price of Aktiv Properties REIT [BUL:5AX].
Total daily regulated market turnover amounted to just 635,000 levs ($357,000/325,000 euro).
