SOFIA (Bulgaria), October 27 (SeeNews) – Sofia-based company n-vision energy has said it plans to develop a wind farm in southwestern Bulgaria that is expected to become operational in 2011.
The farm, near the town of Kyustendil, will produce green electricity for more than 90,000 households through 45 turbines, the company said in a statement on Monday. It will save 170,000 tonnes of coal and 495,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.

The project will deliver up-front income of 3.83 million levs ($2.91 million/1.96 million euro) in the next two years to the Kyustendil municipality. It will create 120 jobs.
n-vision energy is a German family company, based in Sofia. It has been active in wind energy for more than 15 years and has been working and investing in Bulgaria for two and a half years already.
