November 30 (SeeNews) - Slovenian blue-chip hand tools manufacturer Unior [LJE:UKIG] turned to a net profit of 8.1 million euro ($9.2 million) in the first nine months of 2021 from a 4.9 million euro net loss in the like period of last year, said on Tuesday.
Unior achieved 180.4 million euro in net sales, 19.9% more than in the first nine months of 2020, when the orders fell sharply due to the negative impact of the coronavirus crisis, the company said in a statement with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE).
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) grew to 21.5 million euro from 16.9 million euro, Unior said.
Unior and its affiliate companies employed 2,750 people at the end of September.
Unior's shares closed flat at 9.50 euro on Friday on the LJSE.
