November 30 (SeeNews) - Slovenian blue-chip hand tools manufacturer Unior [LJE:UKIG] recorded a consolidated net profit of 10.4 million euro ($10.8 million) in the first nine months of 2022, up 28% from 8.1 million euro in the like period of last year, it said on Wednesday.
Unior achieved 214.1 million euro in net sales, 18.7% more than in the first nine months of 2021, whereas return on equity grew to 5.88% from 4.97%, the company said in a statement with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE).
Earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) rose to 11.5 million euro from 8.2 million euro, while earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) went down to 11.6 million euro from 11.9 million euro, Unior said.
Unior and its affiliate companies employed 2,769 people at the end of September.
