April 18 (SeeNews) - Slovenian steel producer Slovenska Industrija Jekla (SIJ) plans to pay a gross dividend of 21.71 euro ($23.43) per share from its 2021 net profit, it said
Last year, SIJ paid a gross dividend of 6.01 euro per share.
SIJ's shareholders approved at their April 15 meeting a proposal to allocate a total of 21 million euro from last year's 108.8 million profit for dividend payments, the company said in a Ljubljana bourse filing on Friday.
The remainder of the profit will remain undistributed.
Last year, SIJ allocated for dividend distribution 5.8 million euro from the 112.3 million euro profit for 2020.
As of end-September, Ljubljana-based Dilon, part of Dutch-registered Dilon Cooperatief, controlled some 74.3% of SIJ, followed by the Slovenian government with 25.7%, SIJ data showed.
