June 23 (SeeNews) - Slovenian insurer Sava Re [LJE:POSR] has said on Thursday its shareholders endorsed a decision to distribute a dividend of 1.50 euro ($1.58) per share for 2021, up from last year's payout of 0.85 euro per share.
The company will pay as dividends a total of 23.2 million euro, or 30.5% of the group’s 2021 net profit, while the remainder, or 13.8 million euro, will be retained, Sava Re said in a statement.
"The proposed dividend is a 76.5% increase from the dividend paid out for 2020," Sava Re said in April.
Sava Re shares closed 1.17% lower at 25.30 euro on Thursday on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
