January 4 (SeeNews) - Slovenian pharmaceutical products wholesaler Salus [LJE:SALR] signed an agreement for the acquisition of the entire capital of local medical equipment wholesaler Meditrade, Salus said.
Salus will pay a purchase price of 7.16 million euro ($7.6 million) plus additional 810,000 euro in three equal instalments in 2024, 2025 and 2026, depending on the fulfillment of certain conditions related to Meditrade's operations, Salus said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Tuesday.

The contract includes certain suspensive conditions, including the consent of the competent authorities for the protection of competition and the buyer's general shareholders' meeting, Salus said.
Under the terms of the contract, the seller will have the opportunity to acquire up to 1,000 newly issued shares of Salus after the fulfillment of the transaction.
According to data from Slovenia's business register, the entire capital of Meditrade is owned by Slovenian citizen Andrej Mocan.
