LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), August 13 (SeeNews) – Slovenian pharmaceutical products wholesaler Salus [LJE:SALR] said on Friday its consolidated net profit rose to 7.4 million euro ($8.7 million) in the first half of 2021 from 4.2 million in the same period of last year.
Consolidated net sales revenue went up by an annual 13% to 217.5 million euro in the six-month period through June 2021, Salus said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
The company's operating profit increased to 8.4 million euro from 5.5 million euro in January-June 2020, while EBITDA grew to 10.5 million euro from 7.5 million euro.
The company's shares surged 5.34% to 1,380 euro on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange intraday on Friday.
Ljubljana-based Salus is one of Slovenia's leading wholesalers of pharmaceutical and medical products.
