October 24 (SeeNews) - Slovenian energy group Petrol [LJE:PETG] plans to carry out a share split, increasing the number of its shares to 41,726,020 from 2,086,301 on November 1, a public holiday in Slovenia, it said on Monday.
Petrol's share capital of 52.2 million euro ($51.6 million) will remain unchanged and the share price will be automatically adjusted to the 1:20 share split ratio, the company said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
The share split was approved by the general shareholders meeting of Petrol in March.
Petrol's shares traded up 1.53% at 398 euro by 1543 CET on Monday on the Ljubljana bourse.
