October 28 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's seasonally-adjusted economic sentiment index fell by 1.0 percentage point on the month in October, the country's statistics office said.
The October index was 10 percentage points higher compared to the same period last year and 11 percentage points below the long-term average, the statistics office said in a statement on Friday.
The seasonally-adjusted value of the manufacturing sector confidence index was 2.0 percentage points lower than in September and 11 percentage points up year-on-year. It was two percentage points lower compared to the long-term average.
The October seasonally-adjusted confidence indicator for the retail sector was 4.0 percentage points higher month-on-month. It rose by 21 percentage points from a year earlier and was equal to the long-term average.
The confidence indicator in the construction sector decreased by 1.0 percentage point on the month and rose by 25 points year-on-year in October. It was 1.0 percentage point above the long-term average.
The seasonally-adjusted confidence index in the services sector was 1.0 percentage point higher on the month in October. It rose by 7.0 percentage points on the year and 28 points below the long-term average.
The consumer confidence indicator was 3.0 percentage points lower on the month in October. The indicator was 4.0 percentage points higher than in October 2012 and 1.0 percentage point below last year’s average.
