March 18 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's sole nuclear power plant Krsko produced 486,007 MWh of electricity net in February, 2.75% above plan, the plant operator said.
Gross electricity output totalled 510,156 MWh in February, Krsko said in a statement posted on its website on Friday.
A total of 6.1 cubic metres of low and intermediate-level radioactive waste was stored in February, Krsko said.
Krsko NPP, located in Slovenia near the border with Croatia, generates some 40% of Slovenia's electricity output. It operates a Westinghouse pressurised light water reactor of 2,000 MW thermal power capacity.
