LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), September 18 (SeeNews) – Slovenian financial group KD [LJE:KDHR] posted the biggest gains among the blue-chip companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Wednesday, erasing losses it suffered in the previous session, LJSE data showed.
KD Group's shares closed at 86.5 euro, up 2.98%. On Tuesday, the company’s shares closed 2.33% lower at 84.0 euro.
Port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] fell the most among the Slovenian blue-chip companies on Wednesday. Its shares closed 3.46% lower at 25.1 euro.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, closed at 859.42 points, up 0.03%.
LJSE's total trading turnover doubled to 3.41 million euro ($3.8 million) on Wednesday from 1.76 million euro on Tuesday. Insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav [LJE:ZVTG] contributed the largest portion of turnover – 2.1 million euro.
