LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), July 23 (SeeNews) – Slovenian management company Impol 2000, which controls aluminium products manufacturer Impol Group, said it will distribute a dividend of 3.75 euro ($4.19) per share from its 2018 profit, up from 2.81 euro it paid last year.
Impol 2000 will thus allocate to dividend distribution 4.0 million euro from its 2018 net profit, up from the prior-year 2.9 million euro, it said in a statement to the Ljubljana Stock Exchange last week.
The move was approved by the general meeting of Impol 2000 shareholders on July 19.
Impol 2000 achieved a record high net profit of 36.7 million euro in 2018, up from 35.6 million euro profit in 2017.
Slovenian media reported in May that Impol Group has signed a 40 million euro deal with BMW for supply aluminium rods for the bodyworks of new electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles of the German carmaker for at least five years.
In order to meet its commitments under the deal, Impol will build a new production facility worth 6.5 million euro, which will spread on 3,000 square metres in the eastern town of Slovenska Bistrica, news agency STA reported.
