October 26 (SeeNews) - The share price of home appliances producer Gorenje [LJE:GRVG] began to decrease on Wednesday after two weeks of steady growth, data from Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.
Gorenje's stock led the blue-chip decliners on Wednesday. It closed at 9 euro ($9.8), down 1.64%, bourse data indicated.
Two weeks ago Gorenje said that a minority shareholder had increased his stake in the company to 5.25% from 4.906% on Tuesday by acquiring 84,000 shares.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and highly capitalised stocks on the LJSE, edged down 0.15% to 748.20 points after adding 0.59% on Tuesday.
Four of the seven blue chips ended in negative territory on Wednesday, while three rose.
Insurer Triglav [LJE:ZVTG] led the blue chip gainers, adding 1.19% to a close of 23.385 euro.
The total turnover on LJSE rose to 1.7 million euro from 1.4 million euro on Tuesday.
Fuel retailer Petrol [LJE:PETG] recorded the highest turnover among the blue chips, 707,270 euro. The stock declined 0.59% to a close of 321.10 euro.
