June 16 (SeeNews) - Slovenian real estate company Equinox [LJE:EQNX] plans to outsource the management of Lev, uHotel and Union hotels in Ljubljana to Spanish company Grupo Hotusa, Slovenian media reported.
Grupo Hotusa is expected to take over the management of the hotel business for 20 years, but the hotels will remain under the ownership of Equinox, public broadcaster RTV reported on Wednesday.
The Ljubljana Stock Exchange suspended on Wednesday trading in Equinox and Union Hotels.
Slovenia's Axor Holding is Equinox's majority shareholder with a 75.5% stake, followed by state-owned company Kapitalska Druzba with 18.75%. The remainder is owned by a number of minority shareholders.
Equinox, established on May 3, 2021, was the first real estate joint-stock company to join the Slovenian equity market. On January 31, 1,793,869 of its shares were listed on the standard market segment of the LJSE.
