February 3 (SeeNews) - Slovenian chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] said on Monday it has bought back 35 of its own shares for a total of 6,825 euro ($7,550).
Thus, Cinkarna Celje has increased its own shares to 1.3576% of the issued share capital from 1.3533%, the company said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
The company bought the shares at 195 euro apiece on January 28, it said.
As of February 3, Cinkarna Celje held 10,969 own shares.
The decision for the share buyback programme was approved by the general shareholders' meeting of Cinkarna Celje on June 4.
The company's shares traded at 191 euro on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange by 10:00 CET on Monday, down from Friday's close of 194 euro.
