November 26 (SeeNews) - Slovenian chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] said its net profit rose to 26.2 million euro ($29.5 million) in the first nine months of 2021 from 13.8 million euro in the like period of last year.
The company's net sales revenue rose 14% on the year to 149.5 million euro in January-September and earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) grew 68% to 42.6 million euro, Cinkarna Celje said in an interim financial report.
Expenses increased by 2% to 117.2 million euro, it added.
Cinkarna Celje was established in 1873. Its core business is production and marketing of titanium dioxide pigment.
Its shares traded at 255 euro, down 0.78%, by 1019 CET on Thursday on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
