June 30 (SeeNews) - Slovenian document printing company Cetis' [LJSE:CETG] shareholders denied a request of Slovenia's association of small shareholders to distribute a dividend for 2022, the company said.
The shareholders rejected the association's proposal at their general meeting on June 28 and endorsed the offer of the company to skip dividend, Cetis said in a filing to the Ljubljana Stock Exchange earlier this week.
Earlier this month, Slovenia's association of small shareholders requested the payment of a gross dividend of 29.50 euro ($32.02) per share by Cetis this year.
Cetis proposed to its shareholders in May to retain the 10.6 million euro accumulated profit and skip the payment of dividend this year.
The company recorded a consolidated net profit of 19.0 million euro in 2022, up 52.2% from 7.2 million euro in the previous year.
The company is active in security and commercial printing, including the printing of ID documents, lottery tickets and cards as well as in packaging and labels. It is part of MSIN Group which employs more than 1,200 people in its companies.
