LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), January 20 (SeeNews) – The number of building permits issued in Slovenia in 2019 decreased by 5% year-on-year to 6,231, the country statistical office said on Monday.
The total floor area of buildings covered by permits last year was 1,599,689 sq m, a drop by 7% year-on-year, the statistical office said in a statement.
In December alone, the number of building permits issued in Slovenia fell by 6% month-on-month to 548.
A total of 207 permits were issued for residential projects, down 26% on the month, and 341 for non-residential buildings, an increase of 13% over November.
