October 12 (SeeNews) - Slovenian share indices extended their gains in lower turnover on Monday, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index gained 0.28% to 1,092.22 points and the broader SBI20 index advanced 0.58% to 4,475.19 points.
On Friday, the SBITOP rose 0.72% and the SBI20 ended 0.78% higher.
Five of the seven LJSE blue chips ended higher and two closed lower.
Rubber-to-tourism holding company Sava fell 0.54% to an average price of 228.76 euro ($337) while retailer Mercator closed at an average price of 180.03 euro, down 0.61% from its previous close.
Drug maker Krka, a SBITOP heavyweight, was the most liquid company on Monday as 14,682 of its shares changed hands. The company stock added 0.5% to an 74.11 euro.
Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor, the nation's second biggest lender by assets, led the gainers, closing 0.76% higher at 13.34 euro.
LJSE's total turnover fell to 2.3 million euro from 3.9 million euro on Friday.
