March 1 (SeeNews) - A Slovenian court has appointed Igor Koprivnikar president of the management board of energy group GEN-I, a 50/50 joint venture company of state-owned GEN Energija and investment firm GEN-EL Nalozbe, local media reported on Tuesday.
Koprivnikar, together with board members Primoz Stropnik, Dejan Paravan and Andrej Sajn, have been appointed for a term of one year, or until GEN-I names a new management board president, news portal Siol reported.
The management of GEN-I was appointed by the court, as the shareholders' meeting of GEN-I failed to name a new president of the management board following the expiry of the term of Robert Golob last year.
In 2021, GEN-I recorded a consolidated net profit of 70 million euro ($79.5 million), up from 15.4 million euro in the previous year. The group comprises GEN-I d.o.o. and its 14 subsidiaries based in Austria, Italy, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, Greece, Turkey, Ukraine, Georgia and Slovenia.
