May 25 (SeeNews) - The net profit of Slovenian banks increased 0.4% year-on-year in the first three months of 2018 to 128.8 million euro ($150.6 million), the country's central bank said.
The Slovenian banks' net interest income fell 3.3% on the year to 156.0 million euro in the three-month period, while their net fee and commission income edged down 0.4% to 78.5 million euro, Bank of Slovenia said in a monthly report.
The banking sector's total gross revenue rose by an annual 2.8% to 291.1 million euro in January-March, while operating costs dropped 0.3% to 157.2 million euro.
Slovenian banks' total assets increased to 38.1 billion euro as at end-March, up 145.1 million euro compared with the the end-2017 level.
