July 30 (SeeNews) - Slovenia has received three bids in a tender for the reconstruction of the 16 km Maribor-Sentilj railway section, local media reported on Tuesday.
A local consortium led by Pomgrad and including also Kolektor Koling, SZ-ZGP, GH-Holding and Gorenjska Gradbena Druzba has submitted the lowest bid of 101 million euro ($112.6 million), VAT included, in the tender which was launched in May, news agency STA reported.
Turkey's Cengiz has proposed to do the job for 117.4 million euro, while Austria's Strabag proposed 136.6 million euro, daily Dnevnik said.
The best bidder is to be selected by October, as the contractor will then have two and a half years to complete the job, he daily added.
