August 9 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje gained 1.26% this week, closing at 3,951.86 points on Friday, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) rose to 60.9 million denars this week from 58.4 million denars last week.
Drug maker Alkaloid [MSE:ALK] accounted for the largest trading turnover on the MSE this week, of 18.7 million denars, as 1,929 of the company's shares changed hands in 74 transactions.
MSE's OMB bond index closed at 132.92 points on Friday, up from 132.56 points at the end of last week.
