May 22 (SeeNews) - China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, known as Sinotruk Group, is considering investing in the construction of a heavy truck assembly plant in Bulgaria, the transport ministry in Sofia said on Tuesday.
Sinotruk Group representatives met with Bulgaria's deputy minister of transport Velik Zanchev and the main focus of the talks were Sinotruk's intentions to build a heavy truck assembly plant in the country, the transport ministry said in a statement.

Majority state-owned China National Heavy Duty Truck Group generated a turnover of 11 billion euro ($13.0 billion) in 2017, according to the statement. Germany's MAN owns a stake of 25% plus one share in the Chinese company.
