BANJA LUKA (Bosnia and Herzegovina), February 21 (SeeNews) – Siemens Gamesa said on Wednesday it has secured a new order from Bosnian independent power producer F.L. Wind for the supply of wind turbines with a combined capacity of 36 MW for the Jelovaca wind farm.
The scope of the agreement includes delivery and installation of 18 turbines G97-2.0 MW at the Jelovaca wind farm, located in the north of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Siemens Gamesa said in a statement.
Siemens Gamesa has also been engaged to operate and maintain for five years the wind farm, which is due to come on-stream by the end of this year.
This is the company's second project in the country and tenth in the Western Balkans.
Since its entry on the Western Balkans market seven years ago, Siemens Gamesa has received orders in Croatia, Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina for the supply of 116 wind turbines with cumulative capacity of more than 285 MW.
