July 17 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) fell on Wednesday, as shipbuilding company Viktor Lenac [ZSE:VLEN] paced the blue-chip losers, bourse data showed.
Viktor Lenac's shares closed 6.31% lower at 5.20 kuna.
Telecommunication services provider Optima Telekom [ZSE:OPTE] led the blue-chip gainers, as its share price grew 2.75% to 5.60 kuna.
Tourism company Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] generated the highest trading turnover among the blue-chip companies on Wednesday - of 944,293 kuna.
ZSE's total trading turnover fell to 2.9 million kuna ($440,266/392,492 euro), from 4.1 million kuna on Tuesday.
The 25-share benchmark index CROBEX dropped by 0.57% to 1,890.27 after rising by 0.52% in the previous trading session.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, decreased by 0.56% to 1,099.31 after increasing by 0.51% on Tuesday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index added 0.12% to 115.7817.
