May 15 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed lower on Wednesday, with diversified holding Djuro Djakovic [ZSE:DDJH] leading the blue-chip losers, bourse data showed.
Djuro Djakovic's shares ended 5.27% lower at 8.62 kuna.
Telecommunication services provider Optima Telekom [ZSE:OPTE] paced the blue-chip gainers, as its shares closed 3.79% higher at 2.74 kuna.
Tourism company Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP], generated the highest trading turnover on the ZSE on Wednesday - 2.2 million kuna.
Valamar said last week it would distribute a dividend of 1 kuna per share this year, up 0.1 kuna on last year's dividend payout.
ZSE's total trading turnover decreased to 10.6 million kuna ($1.6 million/1.4 million euro), from 13.9 million kuna on Tuesday.
The 25-share benchmark share index CROBEX fell 0.20% to 1,837.12 after edging up 0.02% on Tuesday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, dropped 0.39% to 1,083.50 after closing unchanged in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS index added 0.10% to 113.2164.
