July 7 (SeeNews) - Serbia's biggest power generating complex, TENT, part of state-owned energy utility EPS, will start the overhaul of its 308.5 MW A5 unit on August 15, a senior company official said.
The overhaul should be completed in 60 days and will result in a drop of nitrogen oxides emissions at the plant, TENT A director Savo Bezmarevic said in the July edition of the EPS in-house newsletter.
The TENT A power station comprises six units with a combined capacity of 1,650 MW. The coal-fired TENT power generation complex comprises also TPPs TENT B, Kolubara and Morava. The complex has a total installed capacity of 3,288 MW.
