May 30 (SeeNews) - Serbian hotel operator Putnik Novi Sad [BEL:PUNS] plans to skip dividend for 2018, it said.
The profit generated in 2018 will be used to cover losses recorded in previous years, Putnik said in a filing with the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
The decision was approved by the shareholders of Putnik during an ordinary meeting held on May 29, the company said.
The company also skipped paying dividend for 2017.
The hotel company's non-consolidated net profit rose to 1.6 million dinars ($15,109/13,565 euro) in 2018 from 1.1 million dinars a year earlier.
