November 12 (SeeNews) - State-owned power utility Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) plans to reconnect to the grid a 650 MW generation Unit B of its Nikola Tesla B thermal power plant on November 26, following a six-month overhaul, the Serbian's President's Office said.
The Unit B's capacity was increased by 20 MW as a result of the 90 million euro overhaul that started in May, the President's Office said in a statement on Thursday.
Nikola Tesla B is part of Termoelektrane NikolaTesla (TENT) power generation complex, which also includes Nikola Tesla A, Morava and Kolubara thermal power plants.
